Dr. Cuong Q. Pham, MD, is a skilled physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Med/Peds) with a focus on addiction medicine. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota, where he also completed his medical school training and residency. Dr. Pham combines clinic work at the Community University Health Care Center (CUHCC)—which provides care to underserved populations in Minneapolis—with inpatient duties at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. He is passionate about working with patients from diverse backgrounds and identities, and his professional interests include Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) work. With international experience in Vietnam and South Africa, Dr. Pham is committed to addressing health disparities both locally and globally. He is an active member of MN Doctors for Health Equity. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cycling, cooking, and cold plunging. Dr. Pham’s farthest travels have taken him across Europe, Africa, and Asia, embracing a global perspective on healthcare and culture.
