CUHCC’s story
Community-University Health Care Center, Minnesota's first community health center, was founded by the University of Minnesota in 1966. Today, the south Minneapolis clinic provides comprehensive team-based care to more than 11,000 patients annually from diverse countries, cultures, backgrounds, and faith traditions.

CUHCC offers whole-person, whole family care that addresses the systemic inequities and socioeconomic barriers to health that are all too common in the community we serve. Using an integrated care model, we provide primary care, internal medicine, ob-gyn and midwife services, pediatrics, family dental clinics, language interpretation, legal services, patient advocacy, social work, and behavioral health services to improve health and wellness for children and families.
