Melissa Flores Fioravanti, MA, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She holds a master’s degree in professional counseling-Marriage and Family therapy through Argosy University and is ABD (all but dissertation status) in Capella’s Industrial/Organizational Psychology PhD program. Melissa is a bilingual English/Spanish-speaking therapist and works with individuals, families, couples and groups of all ages. Melissa has been with CUHHC since 2013 and has worked as a program manager for the ARMHS program and therapy director before deciding to devote her attention back to fulltime clinical work as a therapist.

Clinical Interests: I really enjoy working with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds. I have done therapy with Spanish-speaking clients since 2003. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents and children. I enjoy helping client address depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, relational & other problems through a positive therapeutic relationship.
Clinical Experience Statement: I use a variety of therapeutic interventions with clients: narrative therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), solution-focused therapy, yoga calm and other mindfulness-based interventions.
